Conducting a Local Search

With this feature, you can search a database of predefined businesses and other points of interest.
You can conduct a local search by pressing Main Menu > Local Search. The Local Search screen is
shown below. If you know the name of the location you are searching for, type the name in the keyword
field and press Search. A list of results is shown. Press the Map button to see the locations on the map
screen.
If you are searching for the nearest location of a specific type (for example: Restaurant) enter the
category and press Search. Certain categories allow you to select a specific sub-category. Select All to
keep the search broad.
If you are searching for a location that is near your destination or some other location, change the
Search near: field.
To begin navigation, press Go after selecting your chosen location.
