GENERAL INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS For the condensate to properly enter the drain reservoir, the DWG 1. condensate line to the drain must always be installed below the bottom of the vessel to be drained. It is equally important to provide a means for the air that is contained in the reservoir to escape (balance line) as the condensate enters the reservoir. -
