Setting up

!
You will need a clean, level and stable surface on
which to place your PC. Leave a space of at least
8 cm at the rear for the cabling and to provide ade-
quate air circulation.
1. Protect your PC from extremes of temperature and
high humidity. Do not place your PC in direct sun-
light, near hot water pipes or other heat-emitting
objects.
2. Do not place your PC near devices that generate ma-
gnetic fields. Even a telephone placed too close to a
PC can cause problems.
3. Use a socket strip for 240 V AC. We recommend an
overvoltage protection device for guarding against
mains voltage spikes.
4. Ideally, locate your PC where you will not require any
extension cables. Power consumption will increase
sharply if peripherals such as monitors and printers
are required.
