Chapter 6: Maintenance
2. Unplug all cable connections.
3. Remove the inside electronics from the unit.
4. Disconnect the inlet aspiration piping from the flame arrestor.
5. Disconnect the exhaust piping from the flame arrestor.
6. Blow compressed air from inside the unit, through the flame arrestor
outwards. Repeat this step for the other flame arrestor.
7. Connect the exhaust piping to the flame arrestor.
8. Connect the inlet aspiration piping to the flame arrestor.
9. Replace the electronics inside the unit.
10. Plug all cable connections.
11. Power the unit up.
12. Check calibration and airflow.
Steam cleaning may also be effective in cleaning the flame arrestors. If the
arrester element cannot be cleaned satisfactorily, the complete aspiration
detector should be returned to the manufacturer for repairs
