    Snowbird Personal Ultra Freezer Introduction This manual describes installation, use and maintenance of the Snowbird personal ultra freezer. The Snowbird is a –80 °C freezer primarily designed for direct installation in laboratories, research departments etc. where easy and quick freezing facilities are required several times a day. The design allows for installation under standard work tables or laboratory benches.

    Snowbird Personal Ultra Freezer Note   The backup battery will only slowly discharge if the main power is disconnected. Therefore it is recommended that the battery is removed if the freezer is not operational for long periods. In order to avoid switching off the freezer unintentionally we recommend to not install a switch between the mains supply and the freezer.

    Snowbird Personal Ultra Freezer Remove the top front panel. This panel is positioned on the freezer housing with guide pins at either side, with locating holes on the main body of the cabinet. Stand in front of the freezer facing it. Take a firm grip of both sides of the front plate and pull it forwards (towards you) using minimum force.
