Power supply assembly

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Generic Safety and Compliance Notices, and print the following instructions.
The power supply might be very hot. Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait
several minutes until the computer is cool.
Replacement procedure
1. Remove the power cord. See "Power cord" on page 24.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 25.
3. Remove the storage drive bay. See Storage drive bay.
4. Disconnect the power cable from the system board.
5. Remove the power supply assembly mounting screws from the rear of the computer case.
6. Press the power supply assembly tab to release.
7. Remove the power supply assembly.
8. Install the new power supply assembly.
