Powering on your phone Hold down the Power key until the phone powers on, unlock your phone (Swipe, PIN, Password, Pattern, Fingerprint or Face recognition) if necessary and confirm. Using the touchscreen Touch To access an application, touch it with your finger. Touch and hold To enter the available options for an item, touch and hold the item. For example. Touch and hold to access voicemail Enter the desired number from the dial pad and touch to place the call or select a contact from Contacts or Call logs by sliding or touching tabs, then make the call. Sending a text message • To add recipients, enter a mobile phone number or select a contact in the To bar. • Touch the Text message bar to enter the text of the message. • When finished, touch to send the text message. Specific letters (accented) will also increase the size of the SMS.
