To enable or disable One-handed mode

Find and tap Settings > Display > Advanced > One-handed mode.

To add a widget to the Home screen

Touch and hold an empty area on your Home screen until the device vibrates, then
tap Widgets.

Touch and hold the widget that you want to add, and then drag it to the desired
location.
To resize a widget
