Click on "Change Display Type" or "Advanced Properties."

Click on Monitor Type "Change."

Click on "Show All Devices" button.

In the left column, under " Manufacturers," click on "(Standard
Monitor Types)."

In the right column, under "Models," click on "Standard VGA
640x480" or a similar heading, then click "OK." If you chose
"Advanced Properties," click apply.
10. Click on "Close" to exit "Change Display Type."
11. Under "Color Palette," change to "256 Colors," if available.
12. Move the "Desktop Area" slider fully to the left for 640 x 480.
13. IMPORTANT: Click on "APPLY" first, and then "OK."
14. Click the "Start" button. Choose "Shut Down."
15. Select "Restart the Computer."
