The rotary switches on the right hand side are used to set the desired
input resistance for the left and right channels as shown in Table 4. The
information about the requirements of your cartridge will be included in
the manufacturer's specification for the pick-up system you intend to use.
Select the value which is closest to the manufacturer's stated figure. It is
essential to set the same value for both channels. If you do not have
access to the manufacturer's specification, a good starting point for input
impedance is position 8 (100 Ω). This is the factory default setting.
