Computer not recognizing the ARC microphone
Unplug the microphone's USB cable from your computer
and plug it back into your computer. If your computer has
more than one USB port try using a different USB port.
While the microphone is plugged in to your computer
allow one minute for the computer to install the micro-
phone drivers.
If driver installation fails, try connecting your speaker and
microphone to an external USB hub and the hub to your
computer.
Try to re-trigger installation of the microphone drivers.
On your Windows PC, go the Device Manager (right click
"Computer" in the Start menu and select "Properties").
In the list of devices locate "Sound, video, and game con-
trollers" and expand the list of available devices. Right
click on the defective microphone and select uninstall.
With the microphone's USB cable attached to your com-
puter, right click any item in the Device Manager and
select "Scan for hardware change".
ARC Software Installation
Make sure your speakers and ARC microphone are not
connected to the computer when installing the ARC soft-
ware.
If you are having trouble installing the software, go to
MartinLogan.com and download the installation file to
make sure you are using the newest version.
If you are still having trouble installing the software or the
software gets stuck repeatedly on the first measurement it
may be best to try another computer.
