Reducing the battery consumption
Your device provides options that help you save the battery power. By customising these
options and deactivating features in the background, you can use the device longer between
charges:
• O ptimise the device using the Smart manager.
• W hen you are not using the device, switch to sleep mode by pressing the Power button.
• C lose unnecessary apps using the task manager.
• D eactivate the Bluetooth feature.
• D eactivate the Wi-Fi feature.
• D eactivate auto-syncing of apps.
• D ecrease the backlight time.
• D ecrease the screen brightness.

Using a memory card

Installing a memory card
Your device accepts memory cards with maximum capacities of 128 GB. Depending on the
memory card manufacturer and type, some memory cards may not be compatible with your
device.
• S ome memory cards may not be fully compatible with the device. Using an
incompatible card may damage the device or the memory card, or corrupt the data
stored in it.
• U se caution to insert the memory card right-side up.
• T he device supports the FAT and the exFAT file systems for memory cards. When
inserting a card formatted in a different file system, the device asks to reformat the
memory card.
• F requent writing and erasing of data shortens the lifespan of memory cards.
• W hen inserting a memory card into the device, the memory card's file directory
appears in the My Files → SD card folder.
