Control Board Replacement Kit

Applies to: TBS-21A Iced Tea Brewer and Iced Tea/Coffee Brewer
Part number 51033, control board for the TBS-21A has been replaced by the following part
numbers:
For the Iced Tea only version: Part Number K020 – Control Board Replacement Kit
w/software ver. 1.8
For the Iced Tea/Coffee version: Part Number K021 – Control Board Replacement
Kit w/software ver. 4.0
Each kit includes:
new style digital control board with standard software
mounting screws
part # 102172 digital temperature probe assembly
compression ring for probe
instruction label
When replacing the old style control board, # 51033, the board and probe must be
replaced together. The old style temperature probe will not work with the new board, and
vice versa.
When replacing only the old style temperature probe, part # 54022, you may still replace
it with this same part number. It is not necessary to change the board also.
The new style digital probe is part # 102172, and may be ordered separately for
replacement if needed.
The new style board and probe are different than the old style in the following ways:
LED display is green instead of red.
New board and probe are digital instead of analog.
New board is clearly marked "FETCO #51033B". (Do not order replacement boards
under this part number. Order only part # K020 or K021. There is no extra charge
for the probe and other kit components.)
New board does not have a replaceable software chip.
Dispenser sensing switch is now disabled when brewing coffee (Iced Tea/Coffee
version only).
Brew volume can now be set in increments of 0.01 instead of 0.1.
