My base phone works but the extension one shows "no line"

The VTech CS6919 extension phone may show "No line" due to the following reasons:

1. The telephone line cord is disconnected or defective.
2. The telephone base is unplugged or not receiving power.
3. The wall jack or wiring to the jack may be faulty.
4. The handset is not properly registered to the base.

To troubleshoot:
- Ensure the telephone base is plugged into a working power outlet.
- Check if the telephone line cord is securely connected and try a new cord if needed.
- Test the line with another phone to confirm if the issue is with the line or the phone.
- Re-register the handset by placing it in the telephone base.
