Part 1. Using the ThinkPad Ultrabay Plus Cradle for the

WorkPad c500 Series

The ThinkPad Ultrabay Plus Cradle for the WorkPad c500 Series (hereafter called

the Cradle) is installed on the ThinkPad Ultrabay Plus Device Carrier and

serves as a base for WorkPad.

This option kit includes the following:

v Ultrabay Plus Cradle for the WorkPad c500 Series

To install the Cradle, you must have the following:

1. A ThinkPad computer with a drive bay for attaching Ultrabay Plus devices.

2. A ThinkPad Ultrabay Plus Device Carrier, installed in the drive bay.

3. Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, or Windows XP operating

system.

4. WorkPad Palm DeskTop software: You need to install the software by using

the CD-ROM included in the WorkPad kit. Follow the instructions given in

the user's guide for the WorkPad.
