CABINET WITH INSULATION. Installation of Evaporator Coils The cased coil is designed to fit Fedders furnaces the same width. Set coil on upflow furnace discharge air opening. Ensure coil is level for proper condensate drainage. Do not tip coil toward condensate drain. -

Factory and Field-Installed Expansion Valves (cont.) To assure accurate sensing and the best performance, the bulb should be placed on the upper half of the vapor line at the four or eight o’clock position and at least 6” from the coil manifold. WARNING ALWAYS HAVE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER AVAILABLE WHEN WORKING WITH AN OPEN FLAME. -
