  • Page 2 DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLY GUIDE This guide describes how to deliver a Super Novo chair through doorways ranging from 29 to 34 inches. The chair must be removed from the shipping box to fit through doorways in this range. Moving the chair through a doorway 29 – 33.5 inches requires a furniture moving dolly and strap.
  • Page 3 MOVING THE CHAIR THROUGH A 34-INCH OR WIDER DOOR AND WITHIN A ROOM The Super Novo fits through a 34-inch or wider door in the upright position; no need for any disassembly. Follow these instructions to safely move the chair: CAUTION: To avoid injury to yourself and damage to the product, use two or more people to move the chair.

  • Page 5 Remove the foot/calf massager NOTE: The purpose of removing the foot/calf massager is to significantly reduce the weight and improve the maneuverability of the chair for moving. 1. Lift up the foot/calf massager to expose the connectors behind it (Fig.1). 2.
  • Page 6 Remove the side panels and secure the remote and hoses (29- to 31.5-inch doorway only) 1. Using the provided 6mm Allen wrench, remove the screw/washer that secures the front of the right-hand side panel (Fig.7). 2. Locate the small zippered pocket at the top of the side panel, adjacent to the top of the speaker. 3.
  • Page 7 Position the chair on the moving dolly NOTE: Photos in this procedure show chair with side panels on; the procedure is the same for chairs that have the side panels off. 1. Position the moving dolly against the center left-hand side of the chair (Fig.11). 2.
  • Page 8 Move the chair 1. Move the chair slowly through the doorway making sure the plastic side of the chair does not bump into the door frame, to avoid damaging the chair or the door frame. NOTE: You may need to carefully rock the chair one way or another to fit through the door. 2.
  • Page 9 Reinstall the side panels (29- to 31.5-inch doorway only) 1. Untuck the air hoses on both sides and the side panel connector from the left-hand side of the chair. 2. Untuck the remote from the front of the seat cushion. 3.
  • Page 10 Reinstall the foot/calf massager 1. Position the foot/calf massager in front of the chair. 2. Reconnect the connector, making sure it is pressed all the way in and locked. 3. Reconnect the air hose, making sure it is pressed all the way in. 4.

If you haven’t already plugged the power cord into the chair (while reinstalling the side panels), do so now, then plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded 120-volt outlet. 2.   • Page 12 INSTALL BATTERIES IN THE BATTERY BACKUP SYSTEM The Super Novo comes with a battery backup system, which enables you to incline one time to exit the chair in the event of a power failure (batteries not included). You will need four high-quality 9V alkaline batteries to power the battery backup system.

    GUÍA DE ENTREGA E INSTALACIÓN Esta guía describe cómo entregar una silla Super Novo a través de marcos de puerta de entre 73,66 y 86,36 cm. Se debe sacar la silla de la caja de transporte para que pase a través de marcos de puerta de este tamaño. Pasar la silla a través de un marco de puerta de 73,66 a 85,09 cm requiere de plataforma y correas para mover mobiliario.
  • Page 17 MOVILIZAR LA SILLA A TRAVÉS DE UNA PUERTA DE 86,36 CM O MÁS ANCHA Y DENTRO DE UNA HABITACIÓN La silla Super Novo pasa a través de una puerta de 86,36 cm o más ancha en posición vertical; y no es necesario desarmarla. Siga estas instrucciones para mover la silla de forma segura: ATENCIÓN: Para evitar lesiones o daños al producto, para mover la silla se deben emplear dos o más personas.

  • Page 19 Retire el masajeador de pies y pantorrillas NOTA: El objeto de retirar el masajeador de pies y pantorrillas es reducir de manera considerable el peso y mejorar la maniobrabilidad de la silla para su movilización. 1. Levante el masajeador de pies /pantorrillas para exponer los conectores que se encuentran detrás (Fig. 1). 2.
  • Page 20 Retire los paneles laterales y asegure el control remoto y las mangueras (solo marco de puerta de 73,66 a 80,01). 1. Con la llave de Allen grande de 6 mm suministrada, retire el tornillo/la arandela que asegura la parte frontal del panel derecho (Fig. 7). 2.

Mueva la silla lentamente a través del marco de la puerta; cerciórese de que el lado plástico de la silla no choque contra el marco de la puerta para evitar que se dañen la silla o el marco de la puerta. NOTA: Tal vez deba balancear la silla con cuidado de un lado al otro para que pase por la puerta.
