Mulch kit

Inserting the mulch kit
1. Remove the grass collection box, if
used.
2. Lift the impact protection (6).
3. Place the mulch kit (25) upright with the
lower edge on the mower.
4. Push the mulch kit (25) by its lower
edge and then by its upper edge into
the ejector opening.
5. Fold the impact protection (6) over the
mulch kit (25).
Removing the mulch kit
1. Lift the impact protection (6).
2. Grasp the mulch kit (25).
3. Tilt the mulching kit (25) slightly for-
wards.
4. Pull the lower edge of the mulch kit
(25) out of the machine first.
5. Remove the mulch kit (25).

Filling the engine oil

Place the device on an even base.
1. Screw off the oil tank cap with dipstick
(28).
2. Fill the engine oil in the oil tank. The
engine oil tank holds 0.4 l of oil. Use
brand-name oil.
3. Close the oil tank cap (28) again.

Checking the oil level

1. Screw off the oil tank cap with dipstick
(28).
2. Wipe the dipstick (28) using a clean
cloth.
3. Screw the oil tank cap with dipstick
(28) back on completely.
4. Unscrew the oil tank cap with
dipstick (28) and read the oil
level on the dipstick after pulling
it out.
The oil level must be in the
marked field between the mini-
mum and maximum mark (maxi-
mum: 0.4 l engine oil in the oil tank).
5. Wipe away any spilt engine oil.
6. Close the oil tank cap (28) again.
Each time before you mow, check
the oil level and top up the engine oil
before it reaches the bottom mark.

Filling with petrol

Warning! Petrol is flammable and
harmful to health and the environ-
ment:
-
Store petrol in vessels intended for this;
-
Only refuel in the open air and never
while the engine is running or hot;
-
Carefully open the fuel cap so that
overpressure can be relieved;
-
Do not smoke while refuelling;
Avoid skin contact and inhalation of
fumes;
-
Remove spilled petrol;
-
Keep petrol away from sparks, open
flames and other ignition sources.
-
Dispose of any petrol remnants in an
environmentally friendly way (see "Dis-
posal/environmental protection").
- Do not use any petrol/oil mix-
ture.
- Use lead-free normal or premi-
um-grade petrol;
If using organic fuel, do not mix
more than 10% ethanol.
