CHANGING THE DISPLAY FROM FAHRENHEIT (°F)

Temperature readings vary from person to person. Although there is no one "normal" temperature

• Wash with soap and water until all visible soil is removed.
DISINFECTING
• Wet a paper towel with 10% bleach solution, holding the tip of the device with the wet paper towel for 30 seconds, and then wiping towards the tip for
approximately 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Rinse with water for 30 seconds and dry.
OR
• Spray the tip of the thermometer with Lysol
with water for 30 seconds and dry.
CARE & USE
Operating or storing outside these ranges may negatively impact the measurement and potentially damage the thermometer:
• Operating environment must be between 59°F -104°F.
• Operating and storage environment must be between 15-95% relative humidity.
• Store between -13°F and 122°F.
• If core body temperature is lower than ambient temperature the reading may be negatively impacted.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
The Vicks RapidRead Digital Thermometer features a long life battery. When the "
the battery is exhausted and needs replacing.
1. Using a coin, unlock the battery cover and carefully remove the battery with a non-metallic instrument.
2. Replace the battery with a 3V, CR2032 lithium type. Insert the new battery with the positive (+) side facing the battery cover.
3. Carefully replace the battery cover and, using a coin, tighten the cover.
