Windows Vista™ Recovery
Procedure
Before we go on, some clarifications are necessary:
End user's hard disk was originally divided into RP & UP.
RP -
recovery partition, stores system files and is hidden by default
UP –
user partition, can be again divided into 2 parts(system files area +
user data area).
The hard disk can be configured with RP & UP or just UP, and the number
of UP can be 1 or above 1.
Recovery can be done from either Hard Disk or Recovery DVD! End user
can first run Recovery from Hard Disk, when Hard Disk Recovery can't be
done or when end user needs to run Full Recovery, then end user can run
Recovery from Recovery DVD!....
