Disconnect the plug connection (2) of the thermal fuse.

Remove the lower three screws (3) on the rear section
of the retainer.
10. Swing the retainer to the side around the top screw (1).
11. Pull the heat exchanger downwards and to the right,
and remove it from the product.
12. Install the new heat exchanger in reverse order.
13. With the new heat exchanger, ensure that you use the
cable with a coding resistor and the correct plug.
Caution.
Risk of poisoning due to escaping flue
gas.
Mineral-oil-based greases can damage the
seals.
Instead of grease, use only water or com-
mercially available soft soap to aid install-
ation.
14. Replace the seals.
15. Insert the flow and return connections into the heat
exchanger as far as they will go.
16. Make sure that the brackets are seated correctly on the
flow and return connections.
17. Install the compact thermal module. (→ Page 36)
18. Fill and purge the product and, if necessary, the heating
installation.

10.10.6 Replacing the expansion vessel

Empty the product

Detach the connection (3).

Undo the strap handle (2).
4.
Pull the expansion vessel (1)out towards the front.
5.
Insert the new expansion vessel into the product.
6.
Screw the new expansion vessel to the water connec-
tion. Use a new seal for this.
7.
Attach the support plate using both screws (1).
8.
If necessary, adjust the pressure to the static height of
the heating installation.
9.
Fill and purge the product and, if necessary, the heating
installation.
10.10.7 Replacing the PCB and/or the display
Caution.
Risk of material damage caused by incor-
rect repairs.
Using an incorrect replacement display may
cause damage to the electronics.
Before replacing, check that the correct
replacement display is available.
Never use another replacement display.
Note
If you are replacing only one component, the set
parameters are transferred automatically. When
the product is switched on, the new component
adopts the previously set parameters from the
unreplaced component.

Disconnect the unit from the power mains and secure it
against being switched back on again.
Conditions: Replacing the display or PCB
Replace the PCB or display according to the assembly
and installation instructions supplied.
