Disinfection, Sterilization
If necessary, for example after an infectious
illness or if the device has become unusually

We recommend that you wear suitable
gloves when disinfecting the equipment
(e.g. household or disposable gloves).
Unit

The housing and the power supply cable
of SOMNOvent S are cleaned by being
simply wiped over with disinfectant. We
recommend TERRALIN
Hose system
•
When disinfecting use the same
procedure as for cleaning.
•
After disinfecting the equipment all
parts have to be thoroughly rinsed with
distilled water and dried.
•
Let the hose system drip. Dry the hose
system using SOMNOvent S as
described on page 50.
•
Steam sterilization of the creased hose
WM 24120 (grey) using equipment
complying with EN 285 is also possible.
Temperature: 134 °C, minimum treat-
ment time 3 minutes.
•
The creased hose WM 24130 (clear)
can also be cleaned using water up to
70 °C. Sterilisation is not permitted.
