FBM ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE Due to the compound curves on the GM van roof, the Mounting Brackets must be assembled in the exact sequence shown. Do not tighten or torque any fasteners until specified. MOUNTING BRACKETS Leave all indicated screws on all the Mounting Brackets loose at this time. - Page 6 Apply Anti-Seize to all M8 x 65MM Carriage bolts, then Using two or more people, lift and position install the Z Plates using the hardware shown. - Page 7 Z Plate Cam Using the wrench, rotate the Z Plate Cam to raise and engage the Z Plate into the vehicle’s roof gutter. Place a 19mm or 3/4” Keep the Cam Lobe at its open end wrench onto highest vertical position and the Z Plate Cam.
