    A minimum of two people are required to safely mount this machine. • The Carbatec Room Air Filter comes pre- assembled, however before installing the machine or performing a test run, please remove the filters and check for any packing materials that may be inside the unit.

  • Page 18 Repeat steps for remaining three eye bolts. (AF-1000C ONLY) The AF-1000C is also supplied with 4 x low profile mount brackets, which can allow the unit to be mounted almost flush with a ceiling. Attach the 4 brackets each with 2 hex bolts, and mount on your desired position through the holes.
  • Page 19 AF-1000C/AF-2000C ASSEMBLY MACHINE TESTING Once assembly is complete, test run the machine to ensure it is properly connected to power and safety components are functioning correctly. If you find an unusual problem during the test run, immediately stop the machine, disconnect it from power, and fix the problem BEFORE operating the machine again.

    AF-1000C/AF-2000C OPERATION OPERATION The purpose of this overview is to provide the novice machine operator with a basic understanding of how the machine is used during operation. If you are not experienced with this type of machine, we strongly recommend that you seek additional training outside of this manual.
  • Page 21 AF-1000C/AF-2000C OPERATION REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION The timer button controls the three different timer settings. 2H will light up on the back of the unit with one press of the time button. The air filtration system will operate for 2 hours then shut off.

    There are two filters that need to be changed. Disconnect machine from power. (AF-1000C) The outer filter can easily be removed by disengaging the two clips. Fig. L1A Now you can simply pull the filter out, or use a screwdriver to pop the filter out.
