    FUEL • This engine is certified to operate on gasoline. Fresh fuel prevents gum from forming in the fuel system or on essential carburetor parts.

Use only genuine Briggs & Stratton parts. If you perform any maintenance on the engine, first disconnect the spark plug wire WARNING from the spark plug, and disconnect the battery at the negative terminal (electric starter engines only) to prevent unintentional sparking.

    ADJUSTMENTS THROTTLE ADJUSTMENT CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT If the engine does not start or if it runs roughly, the remote throttle control may need adjustment.
