50-Hour Maintenance
1. Fuel filter
Cleaning silencer
2. Fuel line
Cylinder cooling fins
 Remove and clean the cylinder cover and clean dirt and debris
from the cylinder cooling fins.
Remove and replace the fuel filter
 Use a piece of metal wire or the like to pick up fuel filter
through fuel tank opening.
 Pull old filter from fuel line.
 Install new fuel filter.
NOTE
If filter is excessive dirty or no longer fits properly, replace it.
 Never operate the unit with a damage or missing silenc-
er or spark arrester. Operating with a missing or dam-
aged spark arrester is a fire hazard, and could also
damage your hearing.
 Carbon deposits in silencer will cause a drop in engine output
and overheating. Spark arrestor screen must be checked pe-
riodically. Clean deposits from silencer.
IMPORTANT
Do not remove the silencer cover. If necessary, Please consult
your dealer.
