Check
This is normal and should cease after a short p eriod .
If you find that the timer display is blank, then it is likely that there is no electricity sup ply to
your oven. C heck:
(i) That the w all cooker socket is sw itched on
(ii) Other app liances, to see if you have had a pow er cut
(iii) The main circuit b reaker for the p rop erty
Operating the cooker under the follow ing cond itions may cause a safety device to op erate:
(a) Grilling w ith the door closed - A lw ays g rill w ith the d oor fully open
(b) Grilling for an excessively long period at maximum setting - see Grilling guid e.
S w itch off ap pliance and allow to cool for ap prox 30 mins.
S w itch the cooker back on and check that the Grill / Top oven is now op erating.
E nsure that the grill control is turned on.
When the Grill control is operating at less than its maximum setting, the Grill w ill cycle on
and off, this is normal and not a fault.
The p ow er sup ply to your oven has p ossibly b een interrup ted , but has now come back on
again. R eset the timer to the correct time of day using the instructions given in the timer
section of the b ook.
To cancel the audib le tone:
- press the manual button once.
- press the minute mind er button once.
C heck temperature and shelf positions are as recommended in the Oven Temp erature
C harts.
It may be necessary to increase or d ecrease the recommend ed temperature slig htly to suit
your taste.
C heck:
(a) Temp erature and shelf p ositions are as recommend ed in the Oven Tempera tureC harts.
(b) Oven utensils b eing used allow sufficient air flow around them.
C heck that anti-rattle b ungs have been re-fitted after cleaning , and that they been fitted
correctly
