Installing:
1. Prior to installation make sure that you have installed a main circuit breaker cabinet or other input power disconnect.
2. Mount the room controller on a standard 4 X 4 junction box with a depth of 2 1/8" or greater. It is preferable to use a 3 ½" deep box
for the UL924 model with emergency circuit.
3. After connecting the line and load wires, secure the unit to the junction box using two screws.
Line/Load AC Wiring:
Line In: HOT – Black, 12 AWG
NEUTRAL – White, 12 AWG
Loads: LOAD1 – Blue, 12 AWG
LOAD2 – Yellow, 12 AWG
LOAD3 – Red, 12 AWG

The E-Flex room controller is designed for 120-277V AC, 47-63 Hz installations providing

CapT2 Station Connections:
Note: 24V power for CapT stations over Cat5 can only be provided by one source.
By default, the EFRC does not provide power to the stations. A jumper (JP2)
on the room controller enables or disables the 24V power to the EFRC RJ45
connectors. (See EFRC unit load capability).
CapT2 stations and the E-Flex room controller all have two RJ45 connectors to connect devices together in a system using standard Cat5
cable. Maximum cable runs 300 ft.

CapT Power Enable/Disable
Jumper JP2 is used to enable or disable power to the CapT station RJ45 connectors. The jumper in
position 1-2 (default) disables power to the connectors. The jumper in position 2-3 (shown) enables
power to the connectors.
