• Note that if the blanking
plug 2 is fitted, the valve
function of the VUVB valves
is defined as follows:
– NC

normally closed
– NO
normally open
When replacing a cartridge 1
or a blanking plug 2:
• Remove the tubing.
• Remove the spring clip 3
with a suitable tool, e.g. a
screwdriver.

• Pull out the cartridge 1 to
1
be replaced.

• Remove the blanking plug 2
with a suitable screwdriver.

• Place the cartridge 1 or the
1
blanking plug 2 flush with
the housing into the desired

connections.
• Press the cartridge 1 and
the blanking plug 2 firmly

up to the first shoulder.
You can then ensure that:
– the o-ring is not damaged
2
when the spring clip 3 is
inserted.
– the cartridge 1 and the
blanking plug 2 are held
securely.
• Insert the spring clip 3 into
the groove until it clips into
position.
