CD-JUMP TEST MODE
Procedure:
1. Connect the oscilloscope to TP (TE) and TP (VREF) on the
CD board.
Connecting Location: CD board (See page 13)
2. Connect 270 kΩ and 47 kΩ resistors in parallel to the end of
TP603 on the SIDE-KEY board, and short another end of re-
sistors to the GND, and the CD-JUMP TEST MODE will be
activated.
3. Insert a CD disc.
4. Turn the power ON. Press the
[MODE]
5 . If the key is pressed, you can jump in fast feed or fast
reverse direction with the
amount set in Table 1.

Waveform of TP (TE) and TP (VREF) output in each mode is as
follows.
REPEAT – ALL mode
500 µs/div
SHUFFLE mode
1 ms/div
SHUFFLE – REPEAT mode
10 ms/div
6. Turn the power OFF to release the CD-JUMP TEST MODE.
