Functional Testing
The detector can be function tested using the VSF3008 ITEST Flame Simulator, which has been
specifically designed to provide a convenient means of field testing the detector. Refer to the
VSF3008 ITEST Flame Simulator user manual for instructions on its use.
In the unlikely event of the detector failing to respond to the VSF3008 ITEST Flame Simulator
please contact Viking technical support. Please ensure that the flame detector and flame simulator
are being used correctly in the first instance by referring to their manuals.
