General Safety Warnings General power tool safety warnings WARNING! Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term ‘power tool’ in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

Work area safety • Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. • Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Important charging notes Longest life and best performance can be obtained if the battery pack is charged when the air temperature is between 18-24°C. Do not charge the battery pack in a very low or very high air tempera- ture. This is important and will prevent serious damage to the bat- tery pack.

WARNING! Don’t allow any liquid to get inside the charger; electric shock may result. To facilitate the cooling of the battery pack after use, avoid placing the charger or battery pack in a warm environment, such as in a metal shed or an un-insulated trailer.
Assembly Caution! Read all the instructions before assembly. Failure to do so may result in faulty assembly and potential injury! Assemble product on a soft, non-abrasive surface, such as carpet or cardboard, to avoid damaging the item. Seek assistance to assemble bulky or heavy items.
