    Installation Remove the front and backside covers by removing on each side the 4 screws. Remove the 4 screws on the emergency plate on the front side. It is not necessary to disconnect the wirings. Depose the plate inside the base. Remove the 4 screws on the emergency plate on the back side.
  • Page 4 Remove the 2 screws on the left side. Remove the small side covers on each side removing the marked screws. The button can be removed by turning it counter clockwise. Also on the bottom side remove the cover. The figure shows only one side cover. Remove the 8 screws for the head-support.
  • Page 5 On the front side remove the 4 screws for the cover- plate and assemble it on the back side. Unplug the connector for the motor. Remove the 4 screws M8 of the support brackets at the lower surface of the conveyor. The figure shows only one support bracket.
  • Page 6 Check point 16; the hose clip must not touch the frame. Cut the blind cover on one side. Assemble the aluminium profile for the light sensor bar. With the countersunk screw fix the plate on the profile. You will need the “Conversion kit AS-Orbit Base R2L” P/N: 9203514T...
  • Page 7 Remove the existing light sensor bar and assemble it on the new aluminium profiles. Remove two screws, the figure shows only one removed screw. The new position of the light sensor unit is on the right side of the printer. Now it’s necessary to turn the base plate of the print units by 180°.
  • Page 8 Fix the screw again. Repeat the procedure for each unit. Tight the 4 M8 screws on to bottom side of the conveyor. Check point 16; the hose clip must not touch the frame. Connect the motor cable extension on the motor and the orange motor cable.
  • Page 9 Check for each unit if all cartridge holder are over the protected area. Adjust the mechanical distances between each units. The default distance is: 164.9mm or 6.49”. The figure shows the print head cables. It is necessary to interchange the head cable exits otherwise the mechanical head movement is reduced.
