A. Hardware Identification

Connection Diagram:
The diagram below shows the PCMCIA Modem connection:
68-ping
15-ping
PCMCIA laptop connection
phone cable connection

B. Hardware Installation

Step 1 - Power off the laptop computer.
Step 2 - Insert the card into the laptop PC card slot.
Step 3 - Align the card properly to steady.
Step 4 - Plug the 15-ping phone cable into the phone cable connection of this card.
Step 5 - Power on the laptop computer.

C. Driver Installation for Windows 9x, ME, 2000 and XP

Installation for Windows 9x
Step 1 - As Windows 9x boots up, it will automatically detect your new Modem. Click "Next" to
continue.
Step 2 - Select the default choice that will search for the best driver for your device and click
"Next".
Step 3 - Insert the driver CD into CD-ROM and select "Specify a location" and the file path
"E:\Driver\win9x", and click "Next".
Step 4 - Click "Next" to accept the INF. file. Windows 9x will start to copy all files from CD-ROM
to your PC hard disk.
Step 5 - Click "Finish" to confirm the installation of the modem.
Step 6 - Click "Next" to continue the installation of "Wave Device for Voice Modem".
Step 7 - Repeat Step 2-5 to complete the total installation.
