Sync-FO-Multiplexer English

Range of Application

The Sync-FO-Multiplexer converts a digital signal into fibre-optic signals. The electrical input
level is 24 V. The input signal is distributed to the 8 FO output channels in parallel.
It is used to convert and transmit signals for the synchronization of the SIMEAS R real-time
clock.
A power supply is integrated in the housing to generate the voltage required for the converter
board from the auxiliary power supply.

Characteristics

The housed Sync-FO-Multiplexer is a hard-wired and tested functional unit. It is provided
with a snap-on mounting device for a 35 mm DIN EN 50022 rail and with one two-pole screw-
type terminal each for safe connection of the auxiliary voltage and the Sync signal. The fibre-
optic channels are connected by F-SMA (screw-type) terminals.
