    1 Introduction This document is the Technical Release Note of the Alcatel-Lucent 8234/8254 DECT software version 40.85 b0009. This version is made available as a SW on the Enterprise Business Portal in the SW download section. It will also be loaded at the factory for future productions of 8234/8254 DECT handset hardware ( 3BN67378AA/ 3BN67330AB).

    8 Support of Alcatel-Lucent Solutions 8.1 OXE This new DECT handset type is supported on IBS, RBS and xBS systems. It is also supported on IP-DECT systems with some restrictions. The TR version has not the right firmware. If you upgrade to an upper version MD1 (patch M5.204.7.c) and beyond, the phone will update with SUOTA, but it will be blocked after.
