NOTES: (1) - This copy is intended as a master original for reproduction of additional bulletins.
- Page 4 In order to properly install and adjust the Bind-Fast 5, the following tools are needed: • An adjustable wrench • A Phillips screwdriver • A 12” steel ruler • Bind-Fast Adjusting Gauge 8-6502 JOG TABLE ADJUSTMENTS The carriage and its supporting rails are the common element between assemblies, so all major adjustments use the carriage rails as a reference.
- Page 5 Do not touch the single screw at the opposite side of the tank. The Bind-Fast 5 can drift out of alignment during shipping or especially after heavy use. Do this after the jog table and drum have been adjusted. NIPPER TABLE ADJUSTMENTS The carriage and its supporting rails are the common element between assemblies, so all major adjustments use the carriage rails as a reference.
- Page 7 • Remove the nipper table from the machine by lifting it directly upwards. • There have been two styles of locking nuts used on the Bind-Fast 5. The adjusting procedure varies from each, so you must determine which type is used on your machine.
