Refer to the drawing on the previous page as you set up the Rolling Work Seat.
To set up the RST-1WS Rolling Work Seat:
1. Open the box and remove the contents.
2. Put the plastic Work Tray inside the metal Base. Make sure the holes are aligned.
3. Find the four Wheels; remove the Long Nut and Washer from the top of each Wheel.
4. Put the threads of a Wheel up through one of the Wheel holes in the Base.
There are two Wheel holes in the front of the Base (where the rounded corners are) and two in the back
corners of the Base.
Note that the threads on the top of each Wheel do not reach all the way through the Base; this is as it is
supposed to be.
5. Put a Washer on a Long Nut and insert the Long Nut through the Work Tray and the Base until it hits the
threads on the top of the Wheel; finger tighten the connection or use a 5 mm hex wrench.
6. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 for the other three Wheels.
7. Find the two metal Horseshoe Pieces and the four Bolt/Washer/Lock Washer/Nut sets.
8. Orient one Horseshoe Piece so the short section is against the Tray/Base and the long section is up.
The closed ends of the Horseshoe Pieces go above the squared-off ends of the Base and the open ends of
the Horseshoe Pieces go above the curved corners of the Base.
9. Put a Washer next to the Bolt Head of one of the Bolts, then put the Bolt down through the short section
of the Horseshoe Piece and the Tray/Base.
10. Put a Washer, Lock Washer, and Nut onto the bottom of the Bolt and finger tight the connection or use an
appropriately sized wrench or an adjustable wrench.
11. Repeat Steps 9 and 10 for the other hole in the same Horseshoe Piece.
12. Repeat Steps 8 through 11 for the second Horseshoe Piece.
13. Find the remaining two Screw/Washer sets and the Seat.
14. Put a Washer next to a Screw head and insert the Screw up through the long section of the Horseshoe
Piece.
15. Push the Screw into one of the two holes on the bottom of the Seat until the Screw stops, then finger
tighten it.
16. Repeat Steps 14 and 15 for the second Screw/Washer set and the Seat.
17. Use appropriate tools to securely tighten all of the connections.
A 5 mm hex wrench and an adjustable wrench should do the trick.
18. Put the Work Seat onto its Wheels and give it a try.
