Parts needed: Note: All bolts are standard • Ridge 10mm size. Do not fully tighten all bolts until the glasshouse • Roof bars has been glazed. This is to allow for movement of the (1197mm) frame if the base is not completely level or square.
Page 24
Preload an extra bolt/nut near the top of the slopes (down 45mm) ready for bringing the ridge bar into the apex of the ends Choose where you want the Roof Vents to be positioned, insert two extra bolts in each roof bar that will sit either side of the vent.
Page 25
Extra bolts should have been added to attach bottom vent bar Bottom Bar FITTING LOUVRE: Place the bottom bar on top of the glass, loosely bolt on. Bolt the two sides onto the top bar, finger tight, twist slightly to fit in the frame, then push the sides down behind the bottom down bar.
Page 26
If the bottom pane of glass has not been put in set the centre of the T, 612mm from the sill. It is easier to fit the louvre with the bottom pane in place as the cross bar can rest on the glass with the nuts loose but holding T section in place. Lift one side of the louvre up to fit inside the vertical bars, then bring the sides down to fit behind the T bottom bar.

Door Assembly Parts needed • Door rollers • Door head • Door style • Door handle (attaches here) • Door panels • Door guides • Rubber (for glazing)
Page 31
Door Handle: Tuck behind door style, the centre of the door panel goes over the top, bolted on this holds the handle in place. Door Latch: can go on any panel on the leading edge of the door. For the standard door preload 9 bolts (7 if no base) in each Door Style.
Page 32
DOOR PANEL SPACING: Standard Entrance Door has one panel at the bottom, one at 1/3 up, one at 2/3 up and one at the top. Spacing between panels is approximately 470-480mm. For Glasshouses with no Eden base or a high sill then two panels are fitted at the bottom with a 30mm packer between the panels. Spacing between panels is 655mm.
Page 33
It is necessary to glaze the door before hanging it because it is more difficult to rubber it and insert the panes when it is already in place.

Glass Layout Note: Glasshouses over 12’ or 3.8m long have a midwall joiner for the extension. Where the extension joins, the glass is 635mm wide, the same heights apply. We recommend you start glazing from the bottom row of panes and work your way up to the top of the ridge.
Page 39
If your glasshouse is 3m or more in length, an extra centre Anchor Leg is provided. When concreting these legs in the ground, in most instances ½ a bag of concrete is sufficient to secure. Ensure the foot is well covered in concrete, if not, more concrete will be required.
