     The appliance should always be in the “OFF” position before inserting or removing plug from power socket.  Before plugging in, ensure the “ON/OFF” switch is turned to the “OFF” position.  Do not pull on the power cord to disconnect, pull on the head of the plug. ...

    Cutting edge of knife should be facing and flush against the grinder plate. Screw retaining ring (8) onto head until tight. Hand-tighten do not over-tighten. Over-tightening will cause undo wear on the knife and plate of the grinder. If ring is not tight enough, meat may mash instead of being cut by the knife.

    When making bread crumbs, only use the coarse grinding disc.  Never try to undo the parts or to repair the unit by yourself. Please contact MODENA Call Center.  When switching from ON to OFF then to REVERSE or vice versa, wait for approximately 6 seconds to assure that the motor has stopped completely.
