    Battery Slot Charging the Battery The MC432/MC432L is shipped with a lithium-ion battery that is not fully charged. Before using the MC432/MC432L for the first time, you must fully charge the battery. For general use, if the battery has been discharged for several days, you may need to charge it for several minutes before powering on the device.

    Inc. Using the Keypad The MC432/MC432L keypad is designed for convenient one-handed operation. The 23-key keypad provides a power button, a scan key, programmable keys, application keys, scroll keys, and function keys. The color-coded keypad offers alternate function keys in blue, and alternate alphabet keys in orange.

    The imager uses the latest decoding algorithms to acquire data from the barcode. Scanning a Barcode Label 1. Point the MC432/MC432L’s scan window at the barcode you wish to scan. 2.     Airplane Mode When you enable Airplane mode, all wireless functions on the MC432/MC432L are turned off, including the call function, data services, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. When you disable Airplane mode, the call function is turned back on and the previous Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings are restored.

    Inc. Connected devices You can connect the MC432/MC432L to other devices via Bluetooth, NFC, or USB. Make sure the required hardware for the other devices is set correctly to enable connection. Connect to other devices as below. 1. Swipe down from the status bar to open the quick access panel.

    Inc. The MC432/MC432L has built-in NFC (near field communication) so you can share content to another NFC capable mobile device in an instant. The NFC lets you beam webpages, photos, contact information, and more by holding the MC432/MC432L and the other device back-to-back.

    If the other device has an Android Beam option, make sure it is also turned on. 2. Make sure that the NFC area of the MC432/MC432L and the other device’s NFC area are close together. Experiment by moving the devices slightly until a connection is made.
