  • Page 8 DEUTSCH Schritt 1: Korpus & Hals vorbereiten und montieren Stellen Sie zunächst sicher, dass der Halsfuß des Halses (2) passgenau in die Halsaufnahme des Korpus (1) passt und arbeiten Sie diese ggf. mit etwas Schleifpapier oder einem Stechbeitel nach. Im Idealfall sitzt der Halsfuß...
  • Page 9 DEUTSCH Schritt 2: Stimm-Mechaniken installieren Die Montagehülsen für Stimm-Mechaniken (13C) sind Einschlaghülsen, die von vorne in die vorgefertigten Bohrungen an der Kopfplatte gedrückt oder geschlagen werden. Hierfür empfiehlt sich ein Gummihammer oder ein normaler Ham-mer mit Holzzulage zum Schutz der Komponenten, um die Hülsen komplett im Bohrloch zu versenken.
  • Page 10 DEUTSCH Schritt 3: Elektronik-Teile im Korpus montieren Sobald die Mechaniken angebracht sind, kann die Elektronik der Doublecut E-Gitarre montiert werden. Um die Ins-tallation möglichst einfach zu gestalten, sind die wichtigsten Bauteile in Form von Potentiometern (9 & 10) und dem Tonabnehmer-Wahlschalter (11) in einem vorverdrahteten Kabelbaum zusammengefasst. Montieren Sie die Potentiometer am Korpus, indem Sie die beiden Potentiometer für Volume (9) in die vorderen Boh-rungen des E-Fachs und den jeweiligen Tone-Potentiometer (10) in die dahinter liegenden Bohrungen stecken und die Potentiometer-Achsen mit jeweils einer Unterlegscheibe (9A bzw.
  • Page 11 DEUTSCH Schritt 4: Ausgangsbuchse & Saitenmasse verkabeln Im nächsten Schritt kann die Ausgangsbuchse (12) montiert und verkabelt werden. Schieben Sie hierfür die Buchse ohne Schraubmuttern und Unterlegscheiben durch das vorgesehene Loch hinter den Tone-Potentiometern und befesti-gen Sie sie von der Vorderseite mit der passenden Unterlegscheibe (12B) und Befestigungsmutter (12A).
  • Page 12 DEUTSCH Schritt 5: Humbucker einsetzen Montieren Sie nun den Hals-Humbucker (3) in die hierfür vorgesehene Tonabnehmerfräsung an der Halstasche. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Humbucker richtig ausgerichtet ist (Schrauben-Seite zeigt in Richtung des Griffbretts, s. Abb.) und führen Sie sämtliche Anschlusskabel des Tonabnehmers durch die hierfür vorgesehenen Bohrungen durch die Fräsung für den Steg-Humbucker in das Elektronik-Fach des Korpus.
  • Page 13 DEUTSCH Schritt 6: Tonabnehmer verkabeln Um beide Tonabnehmer in den Elektronik-Schaltkreis zu integrieren, müssen die Anschlusskabel der Tonabnehmer an die jeweiligen Volume-Potentiometer (9) gelötet werden. Traditionell steuern die oberen Volume- und Tone-Regler den Hals-Tonabnehmer, die unteren beiden Regler den Steg-Tonabnehmer. Wer den Steg-Humbucker lieber mit den oberen Reglern steuern möchte, kann die Belegung auch nach eigener Vorliebe tauschen (In diesem Fall bitte Schalter-Verkabe-lung in Schritt 4 berücksichtigen und ggf.
  • Page 14 DEUTSCH Schritt 7: Brücken & Stopbar anbringen Sobald die Elektronik vorbereitet und verkabelt ist, können Brücke und Stopbar angebracht werden. Schrauben Sie zu-nächst die Brücken-Inserts (14B) in die jeweiligen Einschlaghülsen für die Brücke (14A) und befestigen Sie diese in die vorderen Bohrlöcher hinter dem Steg-Tonabnehmer. Die Hülsen können entweder eingepresst oder mit einem Gummi-hammer eingeschlagen werden.
  • Page 15 DEUTSCH Schritt 8: Gurtpins, Abdeckplatten & Kappen installieren Die beiden Gurtpins (16) werden mittig an der hinteren Zarge und auf der Rückseite des oberen Korpus-Horns ange-bracht, indem Sie mit einem 2 mm Bohrer an gewünschter Stelle vorbohren und einen Gurtpin (16) mit einer Filzunter-legscheibe (16A) und den beiliegenden Schrauben (18) befestigen.
  • Page 16 DEUTSCH Einstellung der Halskrümmung Der integrierte Halsspannstab bietet die Möglichkeit, mit einem Innensechskantschlüssel die Halskrümmung einzustel-len. Der Zugang zum Halsspannstab befindet sich an der Kopfplatte hinter dem Sattel. Hierbei gilt: Wird der Halsspannstab angezogen (Drehung im Uhrzeigersinn), neigt sich der Hals nach ✳...

    DEUTSCH Reinigung Eine regelmäßige Reinigung des Gerätes von Verunreinigungen und Staub erhöht die Haltbarkeit des Produktes. Trennen sie das Gerät stets vom Stromnetz während sie es reinigen. Optische Linsen sollten mit Hilfe eines trockenen Mikrofaser-tuches gereinigt werden. Dies optimiert ebenso die Lichtleistung.

  • Page 26 ENGLISH Step 1: Body and neck preparation and mounting First make sure that the heel of the neck (2) fits exactly into the neck pocket of the body (1) and rework it with some sandpaper or a chisel if necessary. Ideally, the neck heel should fit without play in the neck pocket. When the neck is aligned in the pocket, turn the neck and body together onto their front sides and use a screwdriver or a thin pencil to push through all four screw holes of the neck pocket into the neck heel to mark the correct screw position.
  • Page 27 ENGLISH ENGLISH Step 2: Tuners Installaton The mounting sleeves for tuners (13C) are drive-in sleeves which are pressed or knocked into the pre-drilled holes on the headstock from the front. We recommend using a rubber mallet or a normal hammer with a wood covering to protect the components.
  • Page 28 ENGLISH Step 3: Electronic Components Installation Once the tuners are attached, the remaining electronics of the Doublecut electric guitar can be wired. To make installation as easy as possible, the most important components in the form of potentiometers (9 and 10) and the pickup selector switch (11) are combined in a pre-wired wiring harness.
  • Page 29 ENGLISH Step 4: Wiring output jack and string ground In the next step the output socket (12) can be mounted and wired. To do this push the socket without nuts and washers through the hole provided behind the tone potentiometers and secure it from the front with the appropriate washer (12B) and fixing nut (12A).
  • Page 30 ENGLISH Step 5: Humbucker installation Now mount the neck humbucker (3) in the designated pickup groove on the neck pocket. Make sure that the humbucker is correctly aligned (screw side pointing towards the fretboard) and lead the pickup's connecting cable through the holes provided for this purpose into the electronics compartment of the body.
  • Page 31 ENGLISH Step 6: Wiring Pickups To integrate both pickups into the electronic circuit, the connection cables of the pickups have to be soldered to the respective volume potentiometers (9). Traditionally, the upper volume and tone knobs control the neck pickup, the lower two knobs control the bridge pickup.   • Page 32 ENGLISH Step 7: Mount Bridge & Stop-bar Once the electronics are prepared and wired, the bridge and stop bar can be attached. First use a drill with a 12 mm countersink to widen the pilot holes for the bridge in the body to 12 mm. Then screw the bridge inserts (14B) into the respective drive-in sleeves for the bridge (14A) and fasten the drive-in sleeves into the front drill holes behind the bridge pickup.
  • Page 33 ENGLISH Step 8: Install Strap Pines, Covers & Caps The two strap pins are attached centrally on the lower side of the body and on the rear of the upper body horn by pre-drilling with a 2 mm drill bit in the desired position and attaching a strap pin (16) and a felt washer (16A) with the enclosed screws (18).

    ENGLISH Adjustment of the Neck Curve The integrated neck truss (tension) rod offers the possibility to adjust the neck curvature with an Allen key. Access to the neck truss rod is on the headstock behind the nut. The following applies: When the truss rod is tightened (clockwise rotation), the neck tilts back and becomes straight.

    Cleaning: A regular cleaning of the device from dirt and dust increases the durability of the product. Always disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning it! Never clean the appliance wet! Optical lenses should be cleaned with a dry microfiber cloth to optimize light output.
