PANDA PERSONAL SAFETY ALARM
Personal Alarm with Torch

Introduction

The Panda Alarm is designed to help increase personal safety. The alarm comes with a handy
torch option, when you press the paw the Panda's eyes light up. When the alarm is
activated the eyes will flash. The alarm is intended to shock an attacker giving the victim an
opportunity to escape from the scene. The alarm should not be relied on to attract help, but to
distract the attacker.
Note:
The Panda Alarm is designed to detach itself from the key ring attachment once
activated to ensure the user does not need to leave their keys at the scene if used for this
function.

Operation of the alarm / torch

Before using the Panda Alarm for the first time please remove the plastic tab covering the
batteries.
1. To activate, simply pull the key ring attachment out of the alarm. To de-activate replace the
pin into the alarm.
2. To use the torch, press the button on the panda's left paw. If you release the button, the
torch will turn off.

Battery replacement

It is recommended that the alarm is tested regularly. If the alarm sounds weak the batteries should
be replaced. To replace the batteries remove screws from back cover and replace the batteries
with correct polarity.
The unit operates by 3 x LR44 (or equivalent) button batteries.

WARNING

The high output siren fitted to this quality personal alarm may cause ear damage if used at
close range for a prolonged period of time. Keep away from children and pets ears. This
product is designed for use as a deterrent; it does not guarantee protection or personal safety.
