TROUBLESHOOTING If you have trouble operating the JBX handheld, review the "Operating Controls" section. If you think the radio is malfunctioning, check the table below. Adjusting the squelch for "threshold" allows the receiver to detect all except very weak incoming radio signals. If you want to call or hear someone who is using a "blue dot" JOBCOM handheld, for example, you must use a blue dot radio. A color dot label attached to the case indicates the radios frequency.
