This service kit enables restoration of stripped threads on the fender where the plastic guards attach,
and reattachment of the guards.
1. Completely remove the left and right ISO guards from the tractor.
2. Remove the two center screws and palnuts from both plastic guards. Install the screws and palnuts included with
this repair kit. Ensure the hardware has the same orientation as the components that were removed.

3. Enlarge all four holes in the fender with the 25/64" drill bit.

4. Assemble the Rivet Nut Installation Tool as shown in illustration, and thread the rivet nut onto the screw until it rests
against the bottom of the large hex body.

5. With the rivet nut remaining on the tool's thread, insert the rivet nut into a hole on the fender.
(Fig. 4)
6. Put a 7/8" wrench (or adjustable wrench) onto the larger hex body to prevent the large hex from rotating.
7. Use an 11/16" socket wrench to turn the smaller hex body clockwise. This action with thread the small hex out of
the large hex, causing the rivet nut to expand against the fender, securing it in place.
8. Continue turning the small hex body clockwise until it comes to a fi rm stop.
9. Tool removal: Turn the small hex counterclockwise to loosen the installation tool. Remove the socket wrench to
expose the tool's center screw, and thread the screw out of the installed rivet nut.
10. Repeat these steps until all four rivet nuts have been installed. Reattach the left and right plastic guards.
