► Schalten Sie immer den relevanten Anlagenteil span-
nungsfrei, bevor Sie mit dem Produkt arbeiten und
sichern Sie die Anlage gegen Wiedereinschalten.
– Je nach Applikation können die Oberflächen der FreeCon-Produkte
mehr als 70 °C heiß werden. Sorgen Sie in solchen Fällen für einen
Berührungsschutz und Warnhinweise an der Anlage.
– Arbeiten am FreeCon-Produkt dürfen nur qualifizierte Elektrofach-
kräfte mit Unterstützung durch unterwiesene Personen durchfüh-
ren. Eine Elektrofachkraft ist durch ihre fachliche Ausbildung und
Berufserfahrung befähigt, die erforderlichen Arbeiten auszuführen
und mögliche Gefahren zu erkennen.
– Die Auslegung der Leitungen muss durch eine qualifizierte Elektro-
fachkraft erfolgen.
– Zur Versorgung der Primärseite muss ein Netzteil mit sicherer
Trennung verwendet werden.
– Während des Betriebs muss sichergestellt sein, dass keine metalli-
schen Gegenstände in den Luftspalt zwischen Primär- und Sekun-
därseite geraten können.
– Sollten sich Störungen an einem FreeCon-Produkt durch die emp-
fohlenen Maßnahmen nicht beheben lassen, muss das Produkt
an Weidmüller eingeschickt werden. Bei Manipulationen am Gerät
übernimmt Weidmüller keine Gewährleistung!
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das FreeCon-Contactless-Power-System ist zur Herstellung einer
kontaktlosen elektromagnetischen Verbindung in der industriellen
Umgebung vorgesehen. Die Gehäuse entsprechen der Schutzart
IP65. Eine andere Verwendung ist nicht zulässig und kann zu Unfällen
oder Zerstörung des Gerätes führen. Zum bestimmungsgemäßen Ge-
brauch gehört auch das Beachten der Dokumentation.

section of the system before working with the product
and secure the system against being switched on
again.
– The surface temperature of the FreeCon products can exceed 70°C
depending on application. To avoid unintentional touch, install a
mechanical barrier or a conspicuous security advice.
– Work on the FreeCon product must only be carried out by qualified
electricians with the support of trained persons. As a result of his
professional training and experience, an electrician is qualified to
perform the necessary work and identify any potential hazards.
– Only a qualified electrician may dimension the cables.
– A power supply with safe isolation must be used to power the base.
– Make sure that no metallic objects can get into the air gap between
the base and remote during operation.
– In the event that the malfunction of a FreeCon product cannot be
rectified by the recommended measures, please send the product
to Weidmüller. Weidmüller assumes no guarantee if the device has
been tampered with!
Intended use
The FreeCon Contactless power system is designed to provide a
contactless electromagnetic connection in an industrial environment.
The housings comply with IP65 protection. Any other usage is not
permitted and may lead to accidents or destruction of the device. The
observance of the documentation is part of the intended use.
