The Acer S240HL monitor may display a "No signal" message when connected to a Lorex security system due to one of the following reasons:
1. Improper Video Cable Connection – Ensure that the video signal cable is properly connected to both the monitor and the Lorex system.
2. Inactive Lorex System – Check if the Lorex security system is powered on and functioning correctly.
3. Unsupported Resolution or Refresh Rate – The Lorex system may be outputting a resolution or refresh rate that the Acer S240HL does not support. The monitor supports specific resolutions such as 640x480 at 60 Hz, 800x600 at 60 Hz, and 1024x768 at 60 Hz.
4. Cable or Port Issues – Try using a different video cable or port to rule out a faulty connection.
5. Monitor Input Source – Ensure that the monitor is set to the correct input source that matches the connected cable type.
Checking these factors should help resolve the "No signal" issue.
