How to get backseat down

1 comments:
Mr. Anderson
February 4, 2025

To fold down the backseat in a 2008 Mercury Sable:

1. Move the seat as far back as possible.
2. Push the head restraint release button and lower the head restraint fully.
3. Pull the strap located on the back of the seat to fold the front passenger seatback.
4. Without releasing the pull strap, push the seatback forward.
5. Move the seat as far forward as possible.

Ensure that no cargo or objects are trapped behind the seatback before returning it to its original position. After restoring the seatback, pull on it to confirm it is fully latched.
