Instrument Panel Indicators
Rev Limit Indicator
REV LIMIT INDICATOR
Si model only
This indicator shows you when the
engine speed is near the tachometer's
red zone. When the engine speed
gets to near the red zone, the
indicator blinks. If you exceed the
maximum speed for the gear you are
in, the indicator stays on, and you
may feel the engine cut in and out
due to the engine speed limiter (see
page 269 ).
To protect the engine from damage,
never drive with the tachometer in
its red zone.

Cruise Main Indicator
If equipped
This indicator comes on when you
turn on the cruise control system by
pressing the CRUISE button (see
page 208 ).
Cruise Control Indicator
If equipped
This indicator comes on when you
set the cruise control. See page
208 for information on operating the
cruise control.
Washer Level Indicator
Canadian models only
This indicator comes on when the
washer fluid level is low. Add washer
fluid when you see this indicator
come on (see page
2009 Civic Sedan
Low Fuel Indicator
This indicator is in the fuel gauge. It
comes on as a reminder that you
must refuel soon.
When the indicator comes on, there
are about 1.9 US gal (7.5 ) of fuel
remaining in the tank.
When the needle reaches E, there is
307 ). a very small amount of fuel in the
tank.
