Additional functions in version 1.01
• Level mode and Time mode are available for the auto
track increment function.
• You can select Quick format or Full format before
formatting a DVD+RW disc.
• You can select US layout or JIS layout for the PS/2
keyboard.
• You can adjust the brightness of the backlight LCD.
• During playback, you can skip a silence of about 2 ms
at the beginning of the file in DSD mode.
Note
If you make a track increment recording in DSD mode, a silence
of about 2 ms will be added at the beginning of the DSDIFF
data.
Note
If you connect a Macintosh computer running MacOS 9 to the
DV-RA1000 via USB, the inserted CD might not be recognized
correctly. Be sure to use a Macintosh computer running MacOS
X or later.
Note
A disc recorded on DV-RA1000 version 1.00 can be played back
on DV-RA1000 version 1.01.

Version 1.00 problems corrected
• When an effect is turned on in CD mode, pressing the
RECORD key or STOP key will not turn the effect off.
• Just after you turn on the power to the unit and open a project
in DSD mode, the actual SDIF-3 output connector will be used
if SDIF-3 is selected on the Input Select screen.
• When the marks (set just after the track increment recording)
are displayed in the LOCATE LIST screen, their order will not
slip and the marks will be displayed in the correct order.
• Marks set during CD-R/RW recording will not be deleted after
the recording is complete.
• The auto track increment will be activated automatically when
you set the sound level to DD in the synchronized recording
screen for the S/PDIF input (excluding an MD and CD).
Correction of the Owner's Manual
• Recording with the fade function as described on page 27 of
the Owner's Manual
Before correction:
When recording starts and fade mode is selected, the RECORD
key flashes while the fade in is taking place. It lights steadily
when the fade is complete.
When playback starts and fade mode is selected, a fade-in starts.
When recording stops and fade mode is selected, the fade contin-
ues for the set time, and then recording stops. If STOP is pressed
during the fade out, recording then stops immediately.
When playback stops (with the STOP key) and fade mode is
selected, the fade-out starts. If the STOP key is pressed during
the fade, playback stops immediately.
Correction:
When recording starts and fade mode is selected, the RECORD
key lights up steadily while the fade-in is taking place.
When playback starts and fade mode is selected, a fade-in starts.
When recording stops and fade mode is selected, the fade out
continues for the set amount of time, and then recording stops.
The RECORD key remains lit steadily while the fade-out is tak-
ing place. If STOP is pressed during the fade-out, recording stops
immediately.
